Local business email marketing success-$7K in 48 hours
I just got the results back from a private consulting client of mine who I wrote a direct response email campaign for which brought in a little over $7000 in just 48 hours. Now this is not one of my Real Estate clients is a brick and mortar local business who was quite frankly terrified to use direct response marketing especially email marketing. After some long intense debates I was able to convince my client that sending out a 3prt direct response email series to his data base of past clients was not only going to work it would rock he gave in. So I wrote up the emails and he sent the 1st one out about a week ago and resulted in his company booking a little over $7000 worth of business in just 48 hours. Check out today's video and leave me a comment letting me know what you thought.

Email Marketing is DEAD…or is it?
Over the course of the internets life email has played a
huge role in the way we communicate with on another. However now that we have
things like twitter, facebook and other social outlets email has seemed to have
moved to the back of the line. Or has it.
Right now the internet is a teenager and is experimenting
with all kinds of strange things, perhaps you can relateJ. From social media to mobile
connections the internet is trying it all.
Now that there is more than 1 way to communicate over the
web email is losing its traction or is it. I guess it’s all about how you look
at it, is the glass half full or half empty. I am the type who says the glass
is half full and I hope you are the same way.
With the massive wave of smart phone usage among prospects
it has become super easy to get right into their pockets. No I don’t mean it in
a negative shady way. What I am talking about is through their cell phones.
Hear me out on this one.
You see although email usage is dwindling online it is on
the rise for mobile phones and devices. This new way to check emails is being
over looked by tons of people who will eventually begin to realize they have to
get into this stuff before they miss out. Lucky for you I am putting you onto
this early. You can thank me later.
You see mobile phones are extremely easy to use when it
comes to reading or sending emails and this is a huge opportunity. You can now
get into peoples closely guarded pockets with out shaking them down or
strong-arming them. Unless your into that kind of stuff.
Like I mentioned above I am not the only one who knows about
emails and the lack of attention they have been getting through your desktop
connection. All of your competitors, if they are sharp, have seen this as well.
However you have a hidden weapon, Me J
I am throwing the idea around of putting together a special
training for my readers who want to learn more about the power of mobile email marketing.
Let me know what you think about this by leaving a comment below and stay tuned
for more info about this special training. Don’t forget to share today’s post
with your friends on facebook also and make sure if have not yet subscribed to
this blog you do so before you leave. Thanks for reading and until next time

Banana's & QR codes-Old vs New pt2
OK so the last time I wrote a post about Old vs New it turned out to be a very popular topic of interest with all of you so I decided to hit you with part 2 of the Old vs New today.
All of you know that the internet and how we market our RE businesses on it is changing every day it seems like. With all of the new shinny objects coming out and latest greatest concepts who knows what really works right?
Keeping the same tone as my last old vs new post lets take a look at mobile marketing shall we. Although mobile marketing is something that is fairly new you can combine older techniques/strategies with new technologies, ie- mobile marketing.
For example stickers placed on merchandise or products to keep brand congruence or continue a marketing message is nothing new. In fact it is one of the oldest ways to keep your message in front of people when they are looking at your products, merchandise or service info. Stickers have been used in all types of ways on all types of stuff.
Included in today's post is a picture of Old vs New showing you how far stickers have come. Basically I was eating a banana the other day and I noticed a sticker on it and was amazed to see it was a QR code. For those of you not sure what a QR code is it's basically looks similar to a bar code that people can scan with their smart phones to get more info about something upon scanning it. QR stands for quick response.
There are al kinds of cool things you can do with QR codes however I am not going to get into detail about that in this post. If you want me to discuss more in depth how to use QR codes and the many benefits associated with them please leave me a comment below this post.
Thanks again for stopping by today to check out the Old vs New pt 2 post and make sure you share this post with your friends on facebook and twitter.
